PalaCavicchi is the Principle Congress Center of the Grand Hotel Bologna. Located in Pieve di Cento, just a few kilometers from Bologna, Ferrara and Modena, our Congress Center is a strategic and versatile location that can accommodate a variety of organizing needs for corporate meetings, conventions and conferences, congresses and fairgrounds.
Thanks to its 1500 sqm extension (39x39) and a height varying between 5.5 m and 13 m in the center and without columns, our facility offers various customization options.
The parquet floor and the laminated wood roof contribute to the exclusive and elegant atmosphere, making the PalaCavicchi a truly impressive location both for worldly elite events and for great business appointments.
At our guests' disposal the Petronian Hall: 288 sqm. of the surface, which can be divided into 5 halls with soundproof partition walls: Renana and Guercino (70 sqm each), Ugo Bassi, Rocca and Felsinea (30 sqm each). There are 2 more rooms in the Center: Garisenda, and Bentivoglio. Up to 7 Congress Halls are seven high-level, functional, innovative and unique and setting has been carefully perfected in all details.

The whole complex of the Congress Center can host a large number of participants in conferences, conventions and corporate meetings. The maximum capacity is 1500 people per room, including the layout of a large 80 square meter. We also have a retractable telescopic stand with 904 seats. For special needs, PalaCavicchi can also be equipped with halls with over 200 people, while for large lunches and corporate dinners we can accommodate up to 1000 guests, offering high quality catering services.

Thanks to our catering service, we organize lunches and dinners from a limited number of participants up to events with 1000 seats. Our Congress Center therefore hosts weddings, baptisms, affirmations and communions, as well as gala even dancing parties. Our goal is to make the special moments of our customers even more special, in a pleasant frame that suits every needs.
